Follow the Example...of Children.

Three weeks ago, Jadon taught about Jesus. He and his family went to France on a mission trip, thus he shared with his peers and the adult volunteers about how he was able to do Jesus' work in a place that really isn't a huge Jesus supporter.

Two weeks ago, Anna taught about Jesus. She has a friend whose parents don't want her to believe in Jesus. Anna has prayed for her friend and has even been able to start bringing her to church.

Last week, Luke told the other kids about his trip to Haiti, where he was able to do the action Jesus would want us to do in that country.

Jadon and Anna are 5th graders, Luke is a 4th grader. In the next three weeks, Sheridan and Landry, both 5th graders, will come talk about Jesus. These kids are taking Jesus seriously.

In Matthew 19, Jesus says, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Jadon encountered people who hated Jesus, who threw Bibles as soon as they found out what they were being handed. Anna has a friend whose parents are completely opposed to Jesus, to God, to church. Luke experienced life without the pleasures and comforts we see everyday here in America.

Yet Jadon still prayed for the people there to see Jesus. Anna has broken through with Jesus' power to bring her friend to church. Luke found joy even in a troubled place like a 10x10 foot home for 5 people in Haiti. Jesus is alive, Jesus is mighty. These kids know it and act on it. So, then, should we. Follow their example as they follow the example of Christ.
