Moses came down from the mountain with the tablets of the 10 Commandments in his hands and the radiance of the Creator on his face. He was glowing, shining, emanating the glory of God.
He had stood in the presence of his Lord, stood there and spoke with him.
Moses was blessed to be there, a time that we all can dream of, of being in the presence of God. As he came down to give the word of the Lord to the people, they were amazed by his physical change.
Now for us today, we do indeed dream of being in God's presence. But why do we dream of that when we already are in his presence? Jesus told his disciples before he ascended to heaven that he would be with us always, to the end of everything. So, we are in his presence right now!
We don't need to dream of this past story or look forward to the future for God's presence - HE IS HERE NOW, WITH US TODAY, YESTERDAY, TOMORROW, AND FOREVERMORE.
We are with God, he is with us, and he is the I AM that never forsakes us.
